Down Payment Grant
The Manship Foundation provides a one-time down payment grant up to $10,000 for properties being sold by the non-profit. This grant is not to be paid back, and instead families are encouraged to spend the cash that otherwise would have been spent on their down payment on making their home their own.
Up to $10,000, or 5% of the purchase price of the home, whichever is less.
Buyer must use specified lender and title company in order to facilitate grant.
Must be a Manship Foundation qualified buyer.
Family income must not exceed 80% of AMI for family size.
